Mother's Day Out at MGC Kids

Our Mother's Day Out program fosters pre-academic skills through both independent and guided play experiences. Using the Adventures in Learning curriculum as our framework, we explore 40 diverse topics with a strong emphasis on language and literacy. This approach allows your child to engage in enriching experiences while developing vital skills across numerous developmental areas.

Our day begins with play as children arrive. Following calendar time, we serve a nutritious snack, after which we divide into age groups to embark on our day's Adventures.

• Hikers are approximately up to 2.5 years old. 
• Campers range from 2.5 to 3 years old. 
• Explorers are 4 years old and above.

Each day at MDO, your child will have the chance to participate in activities that enhance a variety of skills, including pre-writing, fine motor abilities, sensory exploration, art, creativity, and problem-solving. These activities will be presented through a mix of mediums and experiences.

After enjoying a lunch brought from home, we dive into free play time. When the weather is nice, we take advantage of our playground. On inclement days, we engage in various indoor movement activities, such as big gym play, dancing, scarf play, and hula hoops.

After a period of rest and quiet time, we wrap up our day with storytime while waiting to be picked up.
