Our Coaches

Karrie Wright

Karrie works in our Mother's Day Out, DC, and Kids Corner programs. She attended college at the university of Arkansas in Fayetteville and has over 10 years of child care experience. Karrie has 2 daughters who have been involved in competitive cheer at Rock Solid Elite for 7 years. She loves working with kids and being involved with her daughters' cheer gym!

Kacie Stephens

Kacie is a member of the MGC Kids staff as of summer 2016. She is a Discovery Club Kids teacher as well as a van driver. She has 5+ years’ experience in childcare. Her daughter has been a part of our Rock Solid Elite Cheer program for 4 years. She loves working with kids!

Cindy Rochelle

Cindy is married with 3 kids and lives in Maumelle. She loves working as the Events Coordinator at MGC Kids! You may also see her at the front desk from time to time. She handles all of the birthday parties, field trips and other various events at the gym. Cindy graduated from the University of Arkansas at Little Rock with a television degree. She worked for 10 years as an Account Executive and National Sales Manager at KARK and Fox 16. Cindy decided to leave the corporate world and find something that would allow me to be more available to my children and their busy lifestyles. My 2 sons, Brendan (12) and Brody (7), play competitive baseball, football and basketball. Blakely (10) has been at MGC for 8 years, including 7 years as a competitive cheerleader.  

Paul Stover

Coach Paul teaches some of our Strength & Agility classes as well as Tumbling classes. He is mostly known as “Splinter” for our Ninja Zone program. He also gives private lessons in Tumbling, as well as American Ninja Warrior themed training. His main career is as a Healthcare Administrator, but has been involved with MGC for many years through his own children taking Competitive Cheer and gymnastic classes. Paul is very active and is up early to workout at D1 Sports Training most mornings at 5:00 am. Paul brought his experience in fitness and joy for helping kids to MGC in the Fall of 2015. "Though I don't have a background in gymnastics or cheer, I feel that I have a great ability to watch a child perform and adapt training around them so that they can enjoy it and succeed."

Amber

Amber has been a part of the MGC family for almost 11 years. She started as a pre-school parent, then a gymnastics instructor and has since been a part of almost every program MGC has to offer. Currently she teaches fitness classes and is the person that drafts your accounts. Amber’s two daughters have grown up in the gym and participated in gymnastics, tumbling, Discovery Club and one is still an RSE cheerleader.

Brian Waller

Brian was a competitive cheerleader at the University of Central Arkansas. He has 10 years of experience in competitive cheer. He received his degree from UCA in Kinesiology with an emphasis in Exercise Science and a minor in Nutrition. He was an Exercise Specialist Intern at Arkansas Children’s Hospital while finishing up college. Previously, he has worked as a Sports Performance/Strength and Conditioning Coach at Parisi Speed School, Personal Trainer and Group Exercise Instructor. He was the keynote speaker at Arkansas’ State High School Weightlifting Competition in 2010 and a keynote speaker on Strength and Conditioning and Injury Prevention at Arkansas’ State High School Cheerleading Coaching Conference in 2014. He is currently the Rehab Specialist at Skinner Chiropractic. Brian has coached at MGC kids since 2012 and now is a substitute coach. He has helped develop the Strength and Flex program our athletes use. Outside of work, he enjoys racing in endurance sporting competitions. He is a trail ultra-marathoner, cyclist and was once on an Xterra Triathlon Racing team. He once rode his bike 336 miles in 2 days across the state of Arkansas.

Ashlyn

Ashlyn started at MGC Kids in the Summer of 2016. She works with our Discovery Club Summer and After School Programs. As well as coaches a few Cheer 101 and Tumbling classes. She was a cheerleader at Arkansas Tech University for one year before switching attendance to Pulaski Tech. She is currently working on becoming a Dental Assistant. Ashlyn loves being with the kids because they are all full of energy, fun to be around, and she enjoys seeing their creativity come to live. 

Audra

Audra was a competitive gymnast for 7 years, finishing off at level 7. She then transitioned into becoming a cheerleader for 12 years. 3 of those years she cheered for the University of Central Arkansas, where she met her husband. She graduated college with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a minor in Art in Studio. Audra and her husband do choreography and tumbling clinics for other gyms and schools, in and out of state. They have both been a part of MGC since Spring of 2013. Their little boy is a part of our Mother’s Day Out and Preschool Gymnastics Program. Her experience and knowledge in both gymnastics and cheer, as well as her being a parent, have helped prepare her for our Office Manager position. Audra loves being the first person people see when they walk through our doors. Her goal every day is to put a smile on someone else’s face.

Hillary

Coach Hillary has been a gymnast since the age of 3. She began competing in gymnastics and cheering at the age of 12 and started her coaching career at 16. She continued her pursuit of coaching and personal training while completing her B.S. in Exercise Science from Arkansas State University. While in school she attained 200 hours of Yoga Teacher Training through the Circle Yoga Shala. After completing her degree, she owned and operated Down Dog Studio in Jonesboro, AR where she facilitated many avenues of fitness, wellness, and athleticism. Hillary then moved to North Carolina where she coached XCEL, Power Team Gym, cheerleading and recreational gymnastics classes. In addition to gymnastics she has most recently taught tumbling and acro for competitive dance teams in Arkansas. She is excited to bring her passion and excitement to Maumelle and be a part of the MGC Kids family.   

Kimberly

Kimberly has been married to her husband, Brian, for ten years. They are from Brandon, MS, and have loved living in Maumelle for the last six years. They attend New Life Church with their daughter, Mallory. Mallory has been attending gymnastics classes at MGC Kids since she was 2 ½ years old. As a family, they love watching football, going to the park, and spending time with their extended family. Kimberly received her Bachelor of Science degree from Mississippi State University. She was a stay-at- home mom for four years before joining the Little Life Academy Staff at New Life Church, where she is a teaching assistant. Kimberly started at MGC Kids in the Spring of 2016 as of our Mother’s Day Out teachers. Kimberly says she is grateful to be a part of the MGC Staff.

Amber

Natalie Wagner

Natalie is a former competitive gymnast and cheerleader. She came to work at MGC Kids in July 2012. She coaches the level 3 and 4 gymnastics team and is the Assistant Director of the Gymnastics Team Program. Natalie has a BS in Interior Design and Dietetics from University of Central Arkansas. She lives in North Little Rock with her husband, Mark, and two daughters, Emery and Isabelle. Both of her daughters are a part of our Developmental Gymnastics Program. Natalie loves being in the gym environment and watching kids achieve their goals.

Natalie Raley

Natalie is the granddaughter of Jeff and Connie Raley. She started off as a recreational gymnast and moved into a competitive cheerleader. She works with our Discovery Club After School and Summer Programs, coaches Developmental Gymnastics, works as an office receptionist and coaches one of our competitive Cheerleading teams. Natalie says she loves working with children and making their mind work. But the main reason she coaches is to challenge each athlete to push themselves as hard as they can and to see that they can do whatever they put their minds too. She is currently going to the University of Central Arkansas, where she is studying Physical Therapy.

Lindsey

Lindsey cheered competitively for six years. She then went on to cheer at the University of Central Arkansas and Arkansas State University. Lindsey is now finishing her Bachelors degree of Public Relations with a minor in Marketing at UCA. She is a competitive cheerleading coach and a Developmental Tumbling coach. Her favorite part of coaching is being able to see the athletes face light up when they earn a new skill.

Julia

Julia has been with MGC Kids since 2012. She teaches Developmental Gymnastics and Tumbling classes. In her time away from the gym, she works for the Maumelle Area Chamber of Commerce and raises her two girls, Massey and Fiona. Both of her daughters are in our Developmental Gymnastics and Tumbling programs as well as our Summer Camp program. In her spare time, Julia still manages to squeeze in a little hiking, paddling, and dirt-track races.  

Sammy Jo

Sammy Jo has been with MGC Kids since Fall of 2008. After growing up as a gymnast and competitive cheerleader, she attended college at the University of Central Arkansas where she was a cheerleader and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree. Sammy Jo started coaching 15 years ago when she was in high school at the gym she grew up at in Texarkana. After graduating from college she knew coaching still needed to be a part of her life. She is now the Cheerleading Director. She has a daughter that is also a part of our competitive cheerleading and preschool gymnastics programs. Her favorite part of being in the gym is watching athletes grow up and become successful in and out of the gym!

Connie and Jeff

Ms Connie’s love of dance and gymnastics started like most little girls…doing cartwheels nonstop in her front yard! And continued through high school as a Mt St Mary’s Rockette. She worked her way through college at UCA coaching gymnastics at Northside YMCA, teaching gymnastics at CAC schools, and teaching fitness classes. Hot Springs YMCA opened a brand new facility where she became the gymnastic/fitness director and meet Jeff. Jeff, a pharmacist and attorney, quickly feel in love with the sport of gymnastics and coaching. Together they moved to Maumelle, started their family and Maumelle Gymnastics in 1985. 30 years, 4 daughters, and 3 grandchildren later, MGC Kids is growing by leaps and bounds!

Amy Cochran

Amy is the oldest daughter of Jeff and Connie Raley. She has held various positions at MGC since 1990. Currently she is the Assistant Co Director DC summer camps and works as an Office Receptionist on the weekends. Amy has a degree in Middle Level Education with certification in Math, Science, Language Arts, and Social Studies from the University of Central Arkansas. She teaches 7th grade Science during the school year for Mayflower. She says “ I love working with kids and believe that children learn most through experiencing the world through hands-on learning and play.”

Kerri

Coach Kerri started gymnastics at the age of 3. She grew to love gymnastics, competing at a local gym as well as her Junior High and High School teams. After 12 years of gymnastics Kerri became a cheerleader. She cheered for her school team as well as competitively up to level 5. After High School, Kerri cheered at Arkansas Tech University for one year before transferring to University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she now majors in Small Business Management & Entrepreneurship. Coach Kerri has been a part of the MGC family since February, 2012. You may see her assisting in the office or coaching a wide variety of classes, but Kerri is mostly known for being one of our AMAZING competitive cheerleading coaches. She enjoys being outdoors, hiking, boating, and exploring. As well as spending time with her family, friends, long-time boyfriend, and “fur-baby.” However, Kerri admits that she is a bit of a “work-a-holic,” simply because of her love for what she does. She enjoys being able to share her passion with young people every day, and gets great satisfaction in seeing them progress and reach their goals.
